The 18-hole, par-72 course is situated below magnificent La Concha Mountain amidst fragrant orange trees. To access this impressive course, players can become members of the golf club or opt for the Green Fee Rate, available in Low Season, High Season, and Mid-Season categories.
As for the Las Brisas Golf Course, later Real (royal) Club de Golf Las Brisas, it holds a prominent position in Spain’s Top 100 courses, ranked at number 6, and occupies the number 24 spot in Continental Europe. It was founded in 1968 by José Banús himself, who was appointed its first President until 1981. Ambitious Don José wanted the best. He invited world-famous Robert Trent Jones Sr. who had just finished creating the Sotogrande golf course, and after Las Brisas went on to design Los Naranjos and Valderrama. Gerald Huggan, a famed world specialist in plants, was commissioned to design the landscaping. Today, the exotic species native to Africa, Australia, Asia, and South America, and numerous species of palms and Mediterranean trees coexist in harmony, turning the golf course into a stunning botanic garden. Reconstructed by Kyle Phillips in 2015, the course has seen its fair share of golf tournaments, including the International Spanish Open. To play on this jewel in the golfing crown of the Costa del Sol course, individuals must gain membership approval from the Las Brisas Golf Club, a process that can be found on their website.
The Magna Marbella Golf Course, a scenic 9-hole long course masterfully crafted by José María Elguezábal, also offers a welcoming Driving Range. Every Saturday, from 09:00 to 15:00, a lively street market comes to life on Avenida Pilar Calvo, near the bullring and Centro Plaza. One of the largest markets on the Costa del Sol, it has a wide variety of items, including clothing, spices, fresh flowers, fruits and vegetables, paintings, furniture, crafts, artworks, accessories from Senegal, Andalusian ceramics, Spanish antiques, Moroccan leather goods, etc. An exciting cultural experience!
Nueva Andalucia focal point is a bullring, built in 1965 by Luís María de Gana y Hoyos from Bilbao. In 1968, the masterpiece of traditional bullring architectural design was inaugurated with a poster of El Cordobés, Miguel Márquez and Paco Camino, phenomenally popular, crowdstorming toreros.
The building is no longer used as a working building. It was transformed into a hub of restaurants, bars, and shops. One of the most famous International events was hosting the quarterfinal match of the Davis Cup Tennis Tournament in 2009. Following extensive renovations and interior remodeling in 2019, the former bullring became the Marbella Arena, a unique setting for concerts, events and summer cinema. In 2022, Queen Sofía arrived at the Marbella Arena Auditorium, and enjoyed the open-air concert of Zubin Mehta, one of the best living conductors in the world.

The boutique Casino was opened in 1978. H10 Andalucía Plaza Adult Only hotel, formerly known as the Hotel Andalucía Plaza, was built as part of Jose Banus’s original project, including the associated Casino. Originally built as a freshwater reservoir, Lago de Las Tortugas (Turtle Lake) has evolved into a natural space with great ecological value.
