EVENTS – The stage of the Vuelta 2018 in Marbella will finally leave from the Pirulí

The Vuelta a España 2018 will be held from Saturday, August 25 to Sunday, September 16, 2018 and will have 21 stages, with a total length of around 3,271.4 kilometers.The Vuelta a España will take center stage next Sunday, August 26, in Marbella, from where the second stage will start in the direction of Caminito del Rey. The mayor of Marbella, Ángeles Muñoz, today highlighted the repercussion at a sporting and promotional level that means for Marbella “to have been once again an important point in the Tour of Spain.”

Valverde has been the winner of the 2nd stage of La Vuelta a España 2018

Alejandro Valverde (Movistar Team) has been the winner of the second stage of La Vuelta a España 2018, with 163.5 kilometers traveled between the town of Marbella and Caminito del Rey, the first arrival in high of this edition. The Murcian has added his tenth victory in La Vuelta to beat the Polish Michal Kwiatkowski (Team Sky), the new leader of the race after being the second yesterday in the Málaga time trial.
